In this context, a CHURCH is not a building or an institution or a non-profit entity in the eyes of the IRS. It is a body of people united in belief and mission; a gathering who view WORSHIP as a part of life or as a way of living.

Actual intimate experiences that were consensually filmed—honest innocent expressions without purpose, but intention for more authenticity and presence with the camera, not exhibitionism.

CONSENT AND INTENTION |

Informal shoots are moments of intimacy with the loving connections I’ve made during this chapter of my life. It is an HONEST AND PROVOCATIVE lived experience that I had ZERO INTENTION to exhibit, for a very very very long time, until the articulation of my other film studies.

When I noticed that my own story was missing, these additional studies were brought into question. The ones that are showcased here have the consent with those involved, but for privacy, I’ve avoided their identity to honor the power of intimacy of THOSE MOMENTS while also respecting the present-now.

Because these shoots are on the fly, there really is not standards or practices involved or tenets to draft out. They are expression of LOVE, and because of this, I feel there are profound teaching concepts from this space that are desperately needed.
