LILITH is a feminine figure in Mesopotamian and Jewish mythology, theorized to be the first wife of Adam and a primordial she-demon. Lilith is cited as having been "banished" from the Garden of Eden for not complying with and obeying Adam.
The role she plays in Holy Erotica is a symbolic one. Lilith represents the sexual feminine that I demonized as a Christian man, an archetype that I discovered and reconciled with while making these short films.

GOSPEL OF THE BODY is a retrospective lecture, and over-arching reflection of the last 7 years where I gradually picked up 7 ESSENTIAL TEACHING DISTINCTIONS that were required for me to embody to break out of the dogma of indoctrinated patriarchal Christianity and the overwhelm of the matriarchal feminine of eastern religious and indigenous teachings, to reconcile with all parts — the ethers of the spirit, the emotions of the body, and the heart of Christ — and re-discover the EROTIC CHRIST. I go there and discover the story of the barrel man and my granduncle the mayor of Baguio who banned it.
