PUBLIC CURATION
Just as musicians share an album, poets a collection, and painters a show, I share this—a series of videos (ARTifacts) and reflections (ARTicles) preserving a transfiguration of fundamentalist Christian to embodied mystic of Christ.
This collection includes promo videos, development reels, and scenes produced for myself to transmute emotions into gnosis. It covers an arc of my life, from the day I experienced the embodied Holy Spirit instructing me to “Make Holy Erotica” in 2016, to 2026, the launch of Gospel of the Body as an online magazine curating Holy Erotica.
For those who do not know me personally, offering these artifacts is the most authentic and direct way for me to allude to an embodied transformation versus a cosmetic one.

“DARYL CANON” | The Secondhand Canon 6D
A defining characteristic of this body of work is that it was all produced with the same camera. I bought a secondhand Canon 6D from a friend to shoot my first Holy Erotica film. It was already outdated at the time—just as everyone’s phones were beginning to shoot in 4K.
Story mattered more to me than image quality. I was tracking sensation, not pixels. The grip of the Canon 6D became an extension of my nervous system—a nexus for mind, body, and spirit. It was there that I met God.
“Daryl Canon” stayed with me for over nine years. When we finished the most recent Holy Erotica film, he died quickly and spectacularly, as if mocking my fierce loyalty to an already obsolete machine. This curation marks the end of an era—and the beginning of this public curation.

My work was split across three overlapping documentaries, fracturing my story and leaving me unable to feel my own narrative. I was trapped in development hell until the deals expired—and even then, my body remained imprinted by the process. Change came when my camera died, forcing me to examine what I had.
Nine years of footage is daunting. I reviewed everything, pulling thumbnails whether they sparked memory or not, then stepped back to see the collection as a whole. Finally, I saw myself—unproduced, unedited—and could feel the story I was living. By shifting from linear storytelling to a non-linear collection of artifacts, I could finally make myself out from the spaces in between.
From this arose a process and language: the epistemology of somatic artography, which gave rise to teaching distinctions that recontextualize revival in a time of confusion—Erotic Christ, conquest, and communion.
EPISTEMOLOGY OF SOMATIC ARTOGRAPHY
The epistemology of somatic artography is my method for deconstructing the conditioning of shame through the lens of filmmaking itself. In this process, forgotten memory is restored—what I call a gnosis predating conquest Christianity. I name this remembering the Gospel of the Body, the original embodied teaching of Christ: that we are inherently sovereign.

This long-form video presents my personal revelations, drawn from the pre-diluvian era, the Old and New Testaments, and explored through the lens of somatic artography. Exclusively featured in the Gospel of the Body online magazine, the video offers a memory of a “Third Testament”—a return to mysticism and the embodied gospel.
PUBLIC ARTIFACTS
These public artifacts are organized into three iterations of awakening: mind, body, and soul. Each iteration involves a profound egoic death, akin to “coming to Christ” three times, each transformation preserved in video-artifact.
MIND | Deconstructive Theology
This first iteration deconstructs conquest Christianity in the mind—a post-Christian encounter with theology. It features artifact produced during my 5-year work with Touch Podcast: Conversations of Spirit and Body.
BODY | Somatic Transmission
This second iteration reconstructs the embodied Christ in the body—a somatic return to Christ. It features artifacts integrating western and non-wester spirituality during my healing apprenticeship.
SOUL | Art
This third iteration integrates western theology with non-western embodiment, recognizing myself as Christ-Nathanael: a transfigurative axis of paradoxical opposites in the work of art and life. It features non-erotic artifacts that mirrors erotic-spiritual embodiment,

It was during a spontaneous encounter with the embodied holy spirit that I felt God speak through my body with words so clear that it shifted reality itself for me. “Make Holy Erotica.” Over the next 9 years, I produced a number of short erotic films learning what Holy Erotica is.

This video marks a return — to myself, and to a story I needed to tell my way. After moving through purity culture, a healing apprenticeship, and Holy Erotica — along with rejection and loss — I revived my old YouTube persona, CIFGUY, to share who I am now.
Posted just before the 2024 eclipse in Arkansas — an event I once dreamed of as a child — a cosmic moment that felt like a profound homecoming. But what I felt didn’t come from the eclipse alone. It came from both outside and from within.

GOSPEL OF THE BODY ONLINE COMMUNITY
The Gospel of the Body community on Mighty Networks is a space to experience Holy Erotica together—in presence, reflection, and communion.
